Would you?

Would you? Would you really rewind the time, if you could? And even if you would, would you change something about your life?

If your answer is yes, then obviously you're unsatisfied with something about your life.

But why?

Maybe life sucks, and SugarHoneyIceTea can happen sometimes, but would you really want to go against what Allah s.w.t. already planned out for us, just so that we could make ourselves happy right now?

Because you never know, maybe all of those mistakes that you made in the past, were just tickets and chances for a brighter and happier future. And what if you did change what happened in the past?Could you really be happy right now? Life isn't easy, you know.

When i was at debate, my worst nightmare happened when i was so crappy during the debate that mattered the most. Making me feel worse, i let my teammates down and a judge criticized me full on in public. That sucked. But i wouldn't change what happened.

I wouldn't, i really wouldn't. Maybe that's selfish. But i don't think so.

If i had changed the way i debated, maybe the judge wouldn't have criticized me enough to make me realize that everything that he said was right. He challenged me to be better, to meet him when i'm in uni and to prove to him that i do deserve to be in the semi-finals. And one day, that's exactly what i'm going to do. I'm not glad that we lost, but i'm thankful that i realize that it happened for a reason, even though i have no idea what that reason is. I guess i had to get used to disappointment, so that i can appreciate what i do get =)

Its better to go through the hard times now rather than suffer in the future.

Its going to be worth it, insyaAllah =)
